eDNA testing for aquatic and other environments
We analyze eDNA samples (water, filter, sediments, soil) collected from aquatic and other environments to identify species of different biological taxa. The resulting metabarcoding data may reflect biodiversity of an ecosystem, effectiveness of conservation efforts, presence of invasive species, detection of at risk species, or risk of microbial pathogens. Our core analysis includes one or more of the biological taxa.
- Fish
- Mammals
- Vertebrates
- Invertebrates
- Insects
- Bacteria
- Fungi
Bat guano testing to determine bat species
- PCR detection for Myotis species, including little brown bat (M. lucifugus), eastern small-footed bat (M. leibii), northern long-eared bat (M. septentrionalis), and tri-coloured bat (Perimyotis subflavus).
- Meta-barcoding screening for general bat species reported in Canada
Custom targets and sample types can be discussed based on client needs.
